- Connect the USB drive to your computer.
- Open the "Terminal" application, which can be found in the "Utilities" folder within the "Applications" folder.
- In the Terminal, type the following command and press Enter:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume
Note: Replace "MyVolume" with the name of your USB drive.
- Press Enter when prompted for your administrator password.
- The Terminal will display a series of messages as it creates the bootable USB drive.
- Once the process is complete, type the following command and press Enter:
diskutil list
