How to change Windows xp SP2 to SP3 without formating

Now a days in many professional field they are using window xp sp2 and few new software or application that is being launched to market that is only supporting window xp sp3.
Many people are facing problem as they cannot format their current Operating system (May Be window xp sp2) due to some reason.

So, here is the solution for those who are using window xp sp2 and want to upgrade to window xp sp3 without formatting or Manually.

There are Different Methods are available i am posting few of those:-


Method1:

Follow these few steps and get your xp sp2 to xp sp3.
Step 1: Run Regedit by Clicking on Start -> Run , type in regedit and press enter
Step 2: Make a backup of your registry (just in case)
Step 3: Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\Windows"
Step 4: Modify the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300"
Step 5: Close registry editor
Step 6: Reboot
Step 7: Enjoy its done.


Method2:

step1:Click ->Start – >Run – >type REGEDIT, then click OK
step2:Go to-> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlWindows
(Complete pathGo to->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->system==>current control set==>control ===> WINDOWS)
step3:In the right Panel, double click CSDVersion
step4:Input Value data with Base Hexadecimal:
100 (for Windows XP SP1)
200 (for Windows XP SP2)
300 ( for Windows XP SP3)
step5:Because we are will change XP SP2 to SP3, so fill in value data 300
step6:click Ok and reboot Its done.

Method 3:

Its always good to update xp sp2 to sp3 so the best way is first of activate your's window with the help of registry change or with some crack available just google it.
